Mississippi Blackbuck Antelope Hunting

South Coast Safaris 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com Mississippi is the perfect habitat for the Indian blackbuck. This is an exotic animal that was imported here many decades ago and has thrived so much that there are more in the US than in India! We have some crazy fun hunts for this beautiful animal with luxurious accommodations and a thrill of a lifetime! Trophy quality is often great with most of the rams going over 20 inches in length! On the last hunt we spotted a group of 3 males pretty early in the hunt but they spotted us and ran off. A couple hours later we found them again but they were bedded down just over a small hill. We waited for almost an hour for one of the rams to stand up and finally one big boy stood up and and gave us a shot. My client busted the black beast and left with meat, a beautiful mount, and lots of memories. Contact Capt. Dust Mizell today for an outstanding blackbuck hunting experience! Photos taken with this camera Canon PowerShot SX50 12.1MP 50x Optical Zoom Black Digital Camera (Google Affiliate Ad)

Destin, Florida Bowfishing Charters

Capt. Dustin Mizell 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com I have bowfished in Destin, FL for a while now and I can say that it is one of my favorite spots. The water seems to be clear and easy to navigate and there are fish everywhere! There has been plenty of big rays around however we have not really broke the 60 pound mark yet but that is fine. There are plenty of other species as well like really big sheepshead, mullet, catfish, skipjack, flounder, and more! One of the best spots for salt water bowfishing but I do have to charge $100 more than usually to cover the added costs. Let me know if you are ever in town and what to shoot fish! Photos taken with this camera Canon PowerShot SX50 12.1MP 50x Optical Zoom Black Digital Camera (Google Affiliate Ad)

Cajun Lemon Pepper Black Drum and Mullet with Rice

Black drum and mullet are common species harvested while bowfishing in the gulf. This is a quick and easy dish that you can make from an average night of saltwater bowfishing. This meal is also very healthy for you. Here is what you will need:
A few fish fillets.
Your favorite fish seasoning.
Flavored rice bag.
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Cover a cookie pan with aluminum foil and spread the fillets out on the foil. Season the fillets with your favorite fish seasoning. I used a combo of lemon pepper and a cajun creole seasoning. Put the fish in the oven for 15 min. While that is cooking cook abag of flovored rice on the stovetop. The rice should take about 7 min to cook so it will be done before the fish. Make a bed of rice on the plates and lay the fillets on top. A tastey and healthy meal in under 20 min on the cheap. Enjoy! www.TheHuntingCo.com

Sheepshead Bowfishing Charters with Fish-Kabob

The sheepshead is a great bowfishing target in the gulf of mexico. This is a very good eating fish along with striking stripes in appearance so it would turn out great on both the wall or a plate. The fish are not extremely common in the bowfishing world but there will be multiple shot opportunities on a given night. The fish are very difficult to see and often do not move because they are feeding on stationary objects. Come down to Orange Beach, Alabama and shoot some sheepshead with Capt. Dusty Mizell and you are sure to have a great time. Fish-Kabob Bowfishing 251-504-4709 www.facebook.com/fishkabob

Giant Wild Boar Hog Killed in Alabama! With The Hunting Company

We killed the beast this past weekend. We see many giant hogs on our hunting property when we do not have clients but we let them go and hope our clients get a shot at them. This time it happened. One of our clients from Mobile, Alabama killed a giant boar hog with us. No telling how much it weighed. This was a giant in all aspects and the photos do not do him justice.  The hunter actually killed 3 hogs in the same evening and one of them was this giant! He was hunting a large green field planted for the hogs. The hog was big and muddy from wallowing.  He shot 2 early and then shot the big one just before dark. Another great hunt with South Coast Safaris. Alabama free range unlimited hog hunting. 252-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com it is South Coast Safaris -Hunting on facebook.

Exotic Meat Tasting

Ever ate an ostrich? How about a water buffalo? In the southern states you can pick and choose from a list of about 60 different species with all types of different meat for the tasting! You will have much more fun collecting this meat than grabbing it off of a grocery shelf as well. We had two meat does added to our last hunt in Mississippi among others. The clients wanted to try the well renowned meat and they wanted a nice fur from the spotted coat. On day one we got lucky as one crossed a field with a young buck and we harvested her on camera. The other hunter then thought it would be easy for him. It was a couple days later and he had not yet gotten a clear shot at an axis doe. I took him to a spot where I was sure we would kill one. He said "we have to head out at 9:00 am". We saw a few animals but not what we were after and I was confused as to why they did not show but at 9:05 as we were packing up I saw one in the distance. There were actually about 25 of them pouring out of the woods. We chose a good one and he dropped her at 255 yards. This was for sure a "down to the wire" shot. Give me a call if you would like to come pick out some exotic meat! 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com

Alabama January Rut Hunting

The rut in Alabama is one of the latest ruts there is. At the end on January the rifle season is still in and the bucks are running around like crazy. I hunted the last weekend of the season in Alabama and I saw over 20 bucks in just a couple of days. I saw 5 bucks chasing just one doe. Another buck was big and old and would have been a shooter but he had been fighting so much he had broken half of his rack and only had one eye! There were also about 5 really nice bucks taken at this time. This is a great hunt for someone who is chasing the rut around the nation and honestly like I always say "there is no tougher buck than a Bama buck". To book your hunt for next year contact me so I can put you on a big one! 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com

Mississippi Red Stag Hunting

I guide on one of the best red deer hunting ranches in North America. We sat in camo recliners in our luxurious shooting house on top of a hill. We had only sat for a short time when many deer started to come in the field. There was a nice sika deer buck in the group but he decided to go with a big red stag. The deer did not stop until it was at 255 yards and he made a great shot on it. These hunts are a great value and you get a lot of meat and a great trophy. Give me a call for more info on these hunts. 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com it is South Coast Safaris on facebook.

Mississippi Archery Elk Hunting

There are not many elk in MS but our ranch has a few. The lodge is first class and the adventure is unforgettable. I build a ground blind earlier that day in a crossing between two green fields. We saw many red stags, fallow deer, zebra, axis deer, scimitar oryx, and more but we were after an elk. Just before dark a nice bull elk came into the field and began grazing. The bull finally got 40 yards from the blind and he let an arrow fly. The shot was back but in MS you can use poison tipped arrows and the bull ran only 30 yards and then died from the poison. It was a great bull elk and probably one of the only ever killed in MS or with a poison arrow. Please contact us for more info on MS elk hunting. 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com it is South Coast Safaris -Hunting on facebook.
