Exotic Meat Tasting
Ever ate an ostrich? How about a water buffalo? In the southern states you can pick and choose from a list of about 60 different species with all types of different meat for the tasting! You will have much more fun collecting this meat than grabbing it off of a grocery shelf as well. We had two meat does added to our last hunt in Mississippi among others. The clients wanted to try the well renowned meat and they wanted a nice fur from the spotted coat. On day one we got lucky as one crossed a field with a young buck and we harvested her on camera. The other hunter then thought it would be easy for him. It was a couple days later and he had not yet gotten a clear shot at an axis doe. I took him to a spot where I was sure we would kill one. He said "we have to head out at 9:00 am". We saw a few animals but not what we were after and I was confused as to why they did not show but at 9:05 as we were packing up I saw one in the distance. There were actually about 25 of them pouring out of the woods. We chose a good one and he dropped her at 255 yards. This was for sure a "down to the wire" shot. Give me a call if you would like to come pick out some exotic meat! 251-504-4709 www.TheHuntingCo.com
